OCS Citrix Client

OCS Citrix has a program that runs in the background of the Citrix session. The software detects print jobs sent to the OCS printer. The user will be provided with the print job information including the number of pages and the cost of the print job. Depending on the selected payment method, the user will either be prompted to enter their name or account information. 

The Installation of the OCS Citrix Module has two components the Citrix Server and the Print Server. These may be the same server. A shared printer called OCS pointing to the Citrix Print Queue on the OCS Print Server must be installed.

Citrix Server Tasks

From the Citrix Server browse to the Print Server and execute ocsprog\cdusr\citrix_setup.exe. 

Perform the two Citrix Server Tasks

1. Set Point File To OCS Print Server – writes a file on the Citrix Server to tell the clients where the Print Server is.

2. Copy exes to All Users Startup – copy executables to startup

Print Server Tasks

From the OCS Print Server execute ocsprog\cdusr\citrix_setup.exe.

Press the button Enable / Disable Citrix  - The value will be displayed.

Enter the IP of the Citrix Server and press Change Citrix IP. If the OCS Print Server is the Citrix Server Press Pick this CPU.

Configure the Citrix Pop-Up 

From the OCS Print Server execute ocsprog\cdusr\Citrix_Pop_Cfg.exe

This function allows the administrator to configure the OCS Citrix Popup. Settings configured here will determine what the user sees. The OCS Citrix Clients use a global configuration.

Select the screen to be displayed to the users.

·        Account Vending: The User will be prompted for their account information.

·        Send Jobs To Server: The User will be prompted to enter their name and a job description and then send their job to a PRS (Print Release Station).

Prints go to

·        Account Vending can send print jobs directly to the printer or to the server for release from the PRS or LAN device.

·        Send Jobs To Server (PRS) print jobs go to the server for release from the PRS

Display Decimal - OCS Citric client will display the number of decimal places entered.

Check or uncheck the items as they apply to your customized environment.

·        Set Name Entry to Hidden Format

·        Turn OFF Showing Job Description

·        Turn ON 19 char. Limit for job description

·        Turn OFF Display of Printing Costs

·        Turn OFF Privacy Number Button

·        Enable Change PIN

·        Turn OFF View Account Balance Button

Language

Specify The Language terms to be displayed on the OCS citrix popup. The terms are defined on the OCS Server
