Implementing Crystal Reports

In order to use the Crystal Reports engine, OCS must first be configured to output transactions to an MDB database.  To add the DSN run SETUP.EXE from OCSPROG\CDUSR and click “Setup MDB for Transactions.”  Another option is to browse to the server and execute add_trans_dsn.exe from OCSPROG\CDUSR.  

The Crystal Reports viewer must also be installed separately. To install the viewer, browse to the OCS server and run SETUP.EXE from OCSPROG\OCS_CR_INSTALL.

Viewing Crystal Reports: 

The following is a list of crystal reports and a brief description. 

Debit Summary Reports - Lists information for debit accounts by transaction type for any given month and year.

Debit Summary Report by Transaction Type and by Machine Name - Lists information for debit accounts by transaction type and by machine name, for any given month and year.

Detailed Report for an Account by Vend Type - This report displays information for a specific user account.  The information is broken down and summarized by the various types of user transactions.

Detailed Report for Ledgers - Provides information for a given period pertaining to ledger account transactions.

Detailed Report for Ledgers by Charge - Provides information for a given period pertaining to ledger account transactions.

Ledger Summary Report - Summarizes information for all ledgers, for any given month and year.

Ledger User Assignment Totals - Provides information for a given period pertaining to ledger account transactions.

Ledger User Charge Totals - Provides information for a given period pertaining to ledger account transactions.

Summary Report by Account by Vend Type - This report displays information for every user account.  The information is broken down and summarized by the various types of user transactions. 

Summary Report for Ledger Assignment - Provides information for a given period pertaining to ledger account transactions.

Summary Report for Ledger by Charge - Provides information for a given period pertaining to ledger account transactions.
