Download DocumentInstalling the OCS Mac ClientDownload or copy OCLIENT.SITX to the Mac. Extract the file to the root of the hard drive. This will be a directory called Oclient with an application called oclient.app. All programs and files will be located in this directory. You can start the program by clicking on it or adding it to the user startup items as below. The Oclient application does not add an icon to the dock or appear in Finder. When the OCS MAC client starts it reads the local configuration. If the configuration is not found the configuration window is displayed for the local system to be configured.
When the OCS MAC client is running the only way to access the Configuration or End the Program is via the key combination of CTRL-APPLE-E key combination and entering the OCS Admin Password.
Adding the OCS Mac Client to Start Automatically The startup items are defined for each user individually. To add Startup items the user must not have any limitations. Step 1: Log in as the user for whom you want to add the client (i.e. the default user) Step 2: Click on the Apple menu in the upper left. Step 3: Click “System Preferences”. NOTE: this option is not available to limited users Step 4: Click on “Accounts”. The rightmost tab is "startup items." You can add new items with the "+" at the bottom, and checking the checkbox means the item launches itself hidden.
