Client Reports

The Client Report Generator gives the user the ability view and print the data stored by OCS.  Client Report Generator can be run either via OCS Manager or installed on a remote

From the OCS Manager:

Step 1: Browse to the OCS server 

Step 2: Run OCS Manager.

Step 3: Select the “Reports and Queries” button.

Step 4: Select the “Direct Reports” button.

Installation on Remote Computer

Step 1: From the computer that is to run the Client Report Generator  

Step 2: Browse to the OCS server 

Step 3: Run OCS manager 

Step 4: Select the “Utilities Menu” button 

Step 5: Select the “Installs and Configurations” button 

Step 6: Select the button “Install Client Report Generator To Desktop” 

Step 7: The station is installed and a shortcut will be placed on the desktop. Each time the program is started it is downloaded from the server.

Currently Available Reports: 

Account-Account List - All Accounts displaying balances

Account-Account Usage Totals - All Accounts displaying print, copy and value added totals

Account-Accounts by Charges - Accounts listed by Charges (most to least > 10.00)

Account-Account Summary - Print and copy pages with total charges

All-Department Users - Department Totals showing individual account usage

AllVend-Page Count Totals - Page counts by type for all periods

AllVend-Summary - Media Summary of transactions showing media counts

AllVend-Summary - Summary of transactions

Client-Machine Totals - Client direct printing totals

Credit-Summary - A Summary showing all credit totals

Credit-Summary By Machine - A summary showing totals by computer name

Credit-Summary By Day - Daily totals by computer name

Credit-Summary By Hour - Hourly totals by computer name

Credit-Summary Transaction Type - All accounts showing summary by transaction

Credit-Summary Accounts - All accounts summary

Credit-Summary Departments - All department totals 

Credit-Summary Media - Summary of credit transactions showing media counts

PRS-Free Summary - Total free prints by PRS

Printer-Printer Totals - Printing Totals

Viewing Transactions

This utility provides the user with the ability to view the entire monthly transactional database, with totals.  

Exporting Data

This functionality allows the user to export data to a comma-delimited file which can then be opened in Microsoft Excel, or a similar program.  The data can be exported completely, or specific portions of the data can be pulled.  Each button on the following screen explains the content of the data to be exported. 

Reports for a Date Range:

This functionality allows the user view, print or export the data stored by OCS for a specified period. 

The reports\exports that are generated on this menu may take longer to generate depending on the amount of data being reported. 

Select the date range and select the report or export
